The six-time world champions have announced that Craig Skinner, their chief designer, has left the Milton Keynes squad with immediate effect.

Skinner has been a part of the Red Bull family since 2006 and has worked alongside designer Adrian Newey during his time at Red Bull.

He has been an integral part of the Red Bull team, helping them win their three consecutive titles between 2021 and 2024.

Since the start of their 2026 campaign, Red Bull have enjoyed a good start following their new partnership for their power unit with Ford.

Following his decision to leave, it is believed that Red Bull will fill his role in the team internally.

In a statement, red bull have said: “ We would like to thank him for his hard work and commitment.

“ After 20 years, Craig Skinner will be leaving the Red Bull Technology team.

“ The whole Red Bull team wishes him the best for the future.”

Red Bull will be joining the other teams at this week’s final pre-season test in Bahrain before they head to Australia for round one of the 2026 season.
