Mari Boya parts with Campos as he’s promoted to FIA Formula 2 with Prema Racing in 2026.
Boya joins the 2026 FIA Formula 2 grid after an impressive Formula 3 campaign, taking P3 in the Championship, with a single win in the downpour at Silverstone, just weeks after joining the Aston Martin Driver Academy. He took home a further 4 podiums putting him on 116 points.
The Spaniard recently competed in the Formula Regional World Cup in Macau, claiming P2 behind teammate Théophile Naël making it a 1-2 for KCMG ENYA by Pinnacle Motorsport.
Boya expressed his eagerness to join the team as he said:
“I’m very happy and excited about this new adventure. Racing in FIA Formula 2 with a team like PREMA Racing and as a driver of the Aston Martin Aramco Driver Academy is an exciting challenge. After a 2025 season with strong results, moving up to the final step before F1 is exactly what I wanted, and I can’t wait to get started. I will give my best to achieve good results for the team.”
