The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season will forever be remembered in
Maranello. Ferrari achieved a stunning historic double, securing both the World Endurance
Constructors' Championship (WCC) and the World Endurance Drivers' Championship
(WDC) in the Hypercar category.
This monumental success was built not just on raw speed, but on the consistency, strategic
mastery, and sheer collective excellence of its three 499P crews across the eight-race
calendar.
The Double Triumph: WCC and WDC Glory
Ferrari’s ambition culminated in a magnificent dual victory at the season finale, the 8 Hours
of Bahrain:
Constructors’ Champions (WCC): The Scuderia dominated the overall points tally,
outperforming fierce rivals like Toyota and Porsche to claim the coveted Constructors' title.
Drivers’ Champions (WDC): The crew of the Ferrari 499P #51 composed of Alessandro Pier
Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi secured the World Drivers’ title, a testament to
their unwavering performance throughout the campaign.
The Crown Jewel: Le Mans Victory
The absolute highlight of the season was undoubtedly the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Philip Hanson, Robert Kubica, and Yifei Ye, took the overall victory, marking Ferrari’s third
consecutive triumph in the legendary race.
Double Podium: To cement the team’s dominance at the biggest race, the factory Ferrari #51
also finished on the podium, ensuring a glorious double presence for the Prancing Horse.
But in the Endurance Championship, it's not only the teams who won every race and win the
WCC, but the one who scored most of the points.
This philosophy was the foundation of Ferrari’s success. While rivals claimed victories, the
consistent scoring across all three Ferrari crews proved decisive.
Ferrari’s crews secured 3 wins out of the 8 races in the 2025 WEC season:
1812km of Qatar: Victory for the Ferrari #50 (Fuoco / Molina / Nielsen).
6 Hours of Imola: Victory for the Ferrari #51 (Pier Guidi / Calado / Giovinazzi).
24 Hours of Le Mans: Victory for the customer team Ferrari #83 (Hanson / Kubica / Ye).
Drivers' Championship Clean Sweep
The exceptional collective effort is perfectly illustrated by the final WDC standings, where the
three Ferrari trios locked out the top three positions:
#51 (Pier Guidi, Calado, Giovinazzi): World Champions.
#83 (Hanson, Kubica, Ye): Second place.
#50 (Fuoco, Molina, Nielsen): Third place.
Ferrari demonstrated its strength from the very start, securing a podium finish (and the win
for the #50) at the opening race in Qatar. The factory team then took a crucial home victorywith the #51 at Imola, setting the stage for the pivotal Le Mans win by the #83. Even during
races where victory was not possible, the cars consistently scored high points such as the
double podium at Le Mans and securing strong top-5 finishes in the final races in Brazil, the
USA, and the season finale in Bahrain, which allowed them to clinch the Constructors' and
Drivers' titles.
